to
the guy who's leaving
the island of paradise
to join the crowd in jakarta + bandung...
i will definitely
miss you
bali will
never be the same
without you
after
we parked our car, we walked to the building *temen gue sempet
komplen, kok jauh? padahal gak jauh, next time let's take the
buggy *. the first
thing that greeted us *except those permanently smiling staffs*
was the
bridge.
it is made of steel
and timber,
rises above the ayung
river.
and when you see the tiny gaps between the timbers you stepped
on, you'll see the river and the trees far below, which make
you feel scary *buat
meo
yg takut ketinggian, mendingan gak usah kesini*. |
|
 |
 |
|
at
the end of the bridge, there's this big
elliptical lotus overflow pond
*this is the part you should say wow!!
*.
from there, you can see the stunning 360 degrees view to the
green ricefield, the river, and the valley.
then stop there, enjoy yourself with everything around.
the
stairs down
is in the middle of the pond. it leads to the lobby
and the reception
area
with the same elliptical shape. the resort has 18
suites and 28 luxurious villa,
each with its own private plunge pool |
and with
outdoor shower, open to the sky.
it's just such a unique,
fantastic, lovely and beautiful
resort...

s a t u r d a y
i was trapped
to watch matrix
revolutions once more *aaaaargh *.
awalnya gue mau nonton eiffel
i'm in love
,
tapi kan gak semua org mau diajak nonton di bioskop busuk
di denpasar yg konon ada tikus & kunang2nya .
when i had dinner at cafe moka, i saw the staffs and the owners were
decorating
the room beautifully. i just realized christmas
is coming!!!
s
u n d a y
i was on-the-road
again. we played this game
: eh belok kiri kemana?
gak tau... cobain yuk. trus nyasar.
setelah ketemu lagi jalan
yg benar,
kita nyoba lagi: belok kanan kemana? cobain aja yuk, trus nyasar
lagi...
from one of those roads, we found a
forrest!!!
here are some boring
pictures
of the forrest
:
we also
dropped by at the
concentration camp to check e-mails ,
guestbook
and did some browsing *i
know, i know, it's a
sin
to touch computer during the weekend *.
but my guestbook
was kaput & their
internet connection even slower
than my office .
bwahahahaa...

lucu banget deh, satpam dari kantor baru di deket kantor gue ngasi
aba2
parkir pake bahasa inggris!!!
left... left... right... right... straight...
tapi itu blom apa2, soalnya gue pernah mau parkir di kuta square &
tukang parkirnya ngasi aba2 pake mata
angin!!!
whoaaaa...
timur... timur... barat... selatan....
gue sampe buka jendela utk memperjelas arah2 yg dia maksud
*gubraks*
orang2 yg tinggal di pulau ini emang pada gak beres
my
favorite girl
is back!
she was spit
back from hell
because the people
there didn't
want her anymore.
now she
is back
to the world to
be the nightmare of the 7 oceans as a pirate
!
Priska balik buat ngelampok, ngebunuh, nyulik, melkoca dan culi
kamu olang punya waktu depan kompie hehehehehe.
congrats for your
new blog! whatever
you do, do
it with style!
yang penting gaya, man!!
my computer
is sacrifice
because of
a new toy
in the office.
why mine??!!!
because it's the
closest one,
they can't extend the cable, and they don't allow to extend the cable.
i hate when an alien
thing is attached to
my lovely computer *i know, it's actually not mine, it's belonged
to the office, but i love it so much *.
now people will come
and go around me,
aaaaargh...... my
area of privacy
is attacked now .
to meo
: thanks for your beatgreet
of my
immortal.
it really cheered
up
my day
. it wasn't as
easy
as i thought before...
i've
been looking
for
chungking
express all
my life
when suddenly last night, when i dropped by at a friend's house,
i
got it!!!
*i also got happy
together, samurai 1, 2, 3, and the
eye (but i'm not planning to watch the
eye )*. sebenernya
gue mau nonton chungking
express karena gak mau kalah sama anak
ini aja .
and i like it!! wong
kar wai emang keren .
it's a story about two
broken heart polices.
and broken heart people always act extraordinary. the first
one was cop number 223 played by takeshi
kaneshiro.
|
|
 |
we're unlucky in love sometimes
when i am, i go jogging
the body loses water when you jog
so you have none left for tears
 |
|
then
when he was in a bar, he promise himself that he’ll
fall in love
with the next woman that walks in.
that woman turned out to be a drug dealer!
if memory
could be canned
would they also have expiry dates?
if so, i hope they last for centuries
the second cop was number 663 played by tony
leung. he was too busy |
being
broke up with his girlfriend so didn't realize there was another girl
who stole his keys, decorating
his appartment little by little.
but one thing for sure (he
told me about this), you'll like the song california
dreaming after this movie *and i do, it's still dancing
in my head
now*
All the leaves are brown
And the sky is grey
I've been for a walk
On a winter's day
I'd be safe and warm
If I was in L.A.
the funny thing was ,
when i looked for wong
kar wai in yahoo
movies, i couldn't
find it.
so i thought, he was naughty
or something so the
yahoo people
don't like him. but it was me
who mispell his name. hehehe...
i got
this yesterday :
itulah gunanya teman, dimanfaatkan sampai habis, trus dibuang!!!
hahaha...

can you
get
out of my mind,
please??!!!
| |
... i have to work
... i got things-to-do
... i need some sleeps
... i
wanna rest!!! |
pleeeeeeease.....
setelah
alesan males
ngantri, sibuk
*sok sibuk*, dll, akhirnya gue nonton matrix
revolutions. lagian anak
ini cuman nonton kalo sama gue *sah*. i think he just
enjoy being with someone who can't get the story. akhirnya kita
nonton
bertiga:
gue,
hero,
sama satu lagi temen kantornya dia *hi
i forgot your name *.
please don't expect me to write anything about the story here.
but it's better than the
last one and there were a lot of sacrifice
here. |

cuman
mau ngasi tau, kalo cosmo
yg edisi bulan ini ada bonus
cosmo's
short stories-nya.
gue juga baru dikasi tau semalem & langsung beli *walaupun
ada yg bilang kalo cosmo itu bacaannya cewek2 yg desperate *
soalnya penulis2nya rada2 menjanjikan :
fira basuki, reda gaudiamo, nurul arifin,
djenar maesa ayu,
dll.
barusan gue selesai baca
bukunya di kantor *tipis sih, lebih tipis dari jomblo &
ada ilustrasi2 berwarnanya *.
seluruh ceritanya temanya sama: tentang cewek,
kerja, umur sekitaran akhir 20an sampe awal 30an. tapi |
ceritanya
lumayan bagus & ringan kok...

can't wait for another vacation!!!

hari
ini akhirnya
gue dapet kiriman buku jomblo-nya
adhit
*thx iman
*.
sialnya gue lagi
banyak kerjaan
di kantor *grrrrr *
but i couldn't
help
not to read it!
bukunya lucu banget ,
setelah ketawa2
terus menerus selama baca, selesai juga akhirnya.
ceritanya familiar
banget,
soalnya dulu gue juga kuliah di tempat itu, jadi kebayang bangetlah.
kalo mau liat review
lengkapnya,
liat aja disini...
... udah ah, gue mau balik kerja lagi |
|

Subject: Budapest?

You lived in Budapest once? That's all too cool! I take my words back
when I said that your stories in the blog are getting more garing
than usual (hey, actually I never said that, did I?), it's stories
like these that made your site worthy of repeat visitation. A personal
and unbiased view of the exotic locales that one can only dream of
visiting someday. When I said that Hungary is one of the european
countries that I'd like to go to, it's partly influenced by the fact
that I once hold the position of Liaison Officer for Hungarian Students
visiting Indonesia as part of the Kirab Remaja Nasional Event (yes,
I admit..I'm being a Tutut's whore for accepting the job). I forgot
what year it was, but I'm sure it's between my second to third year
in University. It's my first paid job ever! I didn't make much though,
only a few lousy hundred thousand rupiahs which I wasted on comic
books, but the experience that I gained during the 2 weeks chaperoning
two dozen weird looking (some of them are actually quite cute) bules
with unpronounciable names was quite wild! I learned some cultural
background of their country; the fact that they're descended from
one big tribesmen called the Magyar, that later on reaped a bad rap
as Gypsies. But actually they're quite friendly. Eager to learn about
our own culture (hey! If I don't know anything about Indonesia I'd
probably be interested too, but regreting it later perhaps, hehe),
well some people are more friendly than the other of course, it's
basic human characteristic I guess, just like Irex, you're all exposed
to it, but result may vary. Basically all their stories and brochures
that they brought with them for show and tell session made me even
more eager to learn about their country.
To make the story short (I bet you have some packing to do), we exchanged
gifts with them. Me and my L.O. Partner E, we bought wayang golek
pencils by the dozens for souvenirs (I still can't believe how cheap
we are back then...hey, blame that Tutut hag for being so cheap on
us, and spend heavily on allowance money for the foreign participants).
In return, they gave us plenty of knick-knacks and trinkets to keep
us happy for a couple seconds or two (before realizing, that those
are actually pretty cheap also!). But one souvenir from them was actually
very cool, it's a 2-cd set of Hungary's Musical Anthology. In them
you can find classical music, traditional folk songs, jazz music and
even pop songs written and sung by Hungary's finests. Most of them
are classical music actually. So if you feel a little bit yearning
for that tiny little country in the old continent where you left a
good chunk of your heart, then perhaps listening to these songs would
help...that is if you like me to copy them for you (I think they haven't
invented copy-control Cd back then). Have a nice vacation, and Selamat
lebaran!
ps. Did you also know that Budapest is the capital for the world porn
industry? hey I bet you've seen some pornstars walking in the street
without even knowing it.

SELAMAT
LEBARAN buat semuanya!!
mohon maaf lahir & batin |
to iman
: makasih
buat kartu lebarannya.
it's the
only
card i got through snail mail
this year...
